Loose some weight on legs without gaining any muscle?

Hi.
I honestly really hate my legs, i have massive calves and i would do anything to get rid of them (not completely tho, just get slimmer :v:), but i have no idea of how to get rid of some of the fat without gaining any muscle.
I already do have some muscles going on there, but there is a bit layer of fat on top, and it completely destroys my self confidence, I can't even wear tights without being concerned about my calves.
I have asked a few of my friends who visit the gym four to five times a week, but everyone give the same reply about how i will build muscle instead and wont loose any mass.
So is there anyone here who has actually tried and lost weight on their legs, preferably calves? Would be highly appreciated if you could give me some advice on how to.
I can post a picture if you want to, but i don't think thats necessary for now. Thank you in advance.
work out.
eat less.
not hard.
you're a girl?

so we can uh .. assess your situation
eat healthy, and eat less. but don't starve yourself.
Try running, as long as you aren't sprinting you won't gain a ton of muscle. Also, no such thing as spot burning fat.
If you're a girl go on a calorie deficit.
if you're a guy, kill yourself.
I have no idea how one would loose weight.
Most women, if we all haven't mistaken here, preserve fat in their legs. No easy fix, get yourself a diet and stick with it.
Yeah diet, and I'd probably suggest putting on some gorgeous shoes and going for a long but slow jog. I think running is probably the best way to lose weight from your legs. But also I am presuming you are female not male?

its just those god damn calves

but thank you for the replies, i will try to get into jogging, i will probably gain some muscle, but hopefully my calves will get skinnier nonetheless
Hmm wow we actually got pictures.
Internet delivers.
By the way
long distance running = calves gettting strong
BUT
since its endurance running,
your calves will get smaller, and longer muscles.
how about cycling
i take my bike to school every morning, it only takes about 8 minutes, but its basically up hill all the way, and my legs are dead after when its cold outside¨
and another question, the muscle buildup isn't exponential, right? I have no idea how it works, but i wouldn't be surprised if it required more fat to create less muscle.
Too self aware. Wanting a change is awesome, the question is why.
You look like a normal 16-17 yo. A bit on the skinny side, so wouldn't recommend a diet even. Start working out and giving yourself some solid (not flabby) depth.

Fat tissue has some relations to how much muscle you can acquire. But it's not as if it's linear [i.e; if I have 20% fat, I will be able to put 20% more muscle]
You can be 500% fat and have a lot of mass on you.
Why? Because i don't want to have fat calves, as i don't enjoy having this figure. You'll have to understand that not everyone are fine with how they look, and would very much like to change that if it is possible.
I'm not obsessed over my looks, as i look like shit nonetheless, but at least attempting to improve upon that will if anything hopefully give me a small self confidence boost.
I'm really tired right now, but I'll try to put it as best I can right now.
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. It might create a false sense of confidence, but it's not real confidence is because you never really realized what matters.
What matters is how you feel about yourself. I wake up every morning feeling I'm king of the world. Why? because I can. Why wouldn't I be?
"Small confidence boost" - even in that you seem like you lack faith in yourself. You want to gain something out of nothing. That's like hoping to be able to bend metal when I haven't worked out a day in my life.
I have enough self confidence, but that doesn't make my calves all of a sudden look better.
And what exactly is it that matters then? Do you honestly believe that you have the answer to that?
I don't see anything wrong with your legs tbh
In fact, you're skinny as HELL as you are so yeah.
you'll become a complete broomstick if you lose more weight.
Don't lose weight
great legs and middrift.
strong homo.
I like skinny girls.
Legs look p good. If you want you could try rowing (machine or boat) for cardio. It's cardio and you won't work your calves.
Also, sex is p good cardio and I can keep it going all night. Call me.
and yes, wouldsmash/10
(no wk)

Yes.
i don't think that you can even see how big my calves are on those images

HYPERLEGS
my thighs aren't exactly small either
but really, is there any specific way of exercising to loose as much fat from the legs as possible?
I already suggested rowing but the sex comment prob destroyed my credibility. You could try upper body cardio, in general. Rock climbing, swimming (some legs but not as much), maybe even get one of those track wheel chairs and do that.
Once again, I think you're being pretty critical of yourself. They look proportional to me.
they aren't big at all what the fuk are you talking about
unless you have mad cellulite there, stop worrying
They are totally fine, dont make them looking stick duh.
Anyway, not sure if its a sex matter, but i was running a lot before, bunch of muscle appeared just but running.

So basically put the strain priority on other body parts in order to not build any muscle on the legs per se, but do enough to burn fat?

O.K, facts are - you have normal looking legs. Yes, your legs are bigger in comparison to the rest of your body. Big wow, most women's legs are.
You're overly in confident about how you look, even though you claim to be otherwise.
You have a disposition to store fat in your legs, as I stated above and earlier.
You're way too skinny to start a hardcore regimen and you should stop worrying about your body image.
facts about the solution;
there's no quick fix.
there's no way you could specifically take off fat off.
my solution then?
start changing the way you feel about yourself. You want to go to the gym have a physical change? that's fine, but first make sure you do it for the right reasons. You say you have confidence, yet you display none as you keep on ranting about how your legs are fucked yet everybody keeps telling you otherwise. Distorted body image comes from the same place insecurities come from - inside.
Why do you feel that way? do you really need to be skinny in order to feel good about yourself? Do you really need to follow up what magazines and so called "most of people" say in order to feel that good about yourself?
Society today breeds people who know constant satisfaction in every term. The term perfect had stopped from being a fantasy and turned into a desire. When that desire is all around us, why would you feel secure about yourself, ever? Tits jobs and fatty legs, you will never stop.
I'm not saying accept it, but understand that you have no reason to be insecure. Working in the gym won't turn you automatically attractive in all the guy's eyes, but how you feel will.
To be honest, I can't really express myself right now as fluently as I always do due to the fact I'm still tired and you're a female. I usually preach to males, which are easier to manipulate due to our massive egos. trying to achieve the perfect body will never happen, because perfect never really exists. Accepting your flaws and using them as your strengths consistently will make you beautiful in everybody's eyes.
I actually just want to have skinner legs, thats all. Appreciated that you spent the time writing that out, but its not what i'm looking for.
It's funny how I wrote like 5 paragraphs and your respond was a full sentence. I understand you feel uncomfortable, as I said, I might be harsh for most females. You have zero egos.
The right answers is what I said, I could provide you the truth you're not looking for, but the fact is, you'll harm yourself. You won't achieve what you wish to achieve.
Also, I specifically said - "my solution", I don't really care whether you like my answer or not. It's the right answer.
But for the sake of the argument, to prove you're not aiming to the right place,, I will give you a "PT's" answer; [a good one at least]
At your current level, I wouldn't suggest a diet to lower body fat. You store fat in your legs almost exclusively and if I give you a way to lose more fat you might harm yourself because you don't know how to diet correctly.
You want to diet? fine. Go to the gym, start working out for at least a year, come back here and I want to see some proportions between your legs and upper body. After I see you gain some mass in your upper body I will understand 2 things - you did it right, you knew how to diet correctly in order to achieve the mass and you're not looking for a quick fix, meaning, this need for a change is coming from a different place.
Until then, not recommended. What so ever. You have all the wrong ingredients to be able to experience a "good diet".
lol
