Wow... Carmack, Gaben, Helgason and Cliff all support this? I remember Carmack talking about issues with hardware dropping the latency down, and if they've really got the latency down so far that's incredible.

How much is this going to cost..?[/QUOTE] In the E3 interview Carmack suggested that the kits would be about 500$, with 600$ versions including motions sensors and a copy of Doom 3 BFG. Right off the bat that's like half the cost for a more immersive device, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it ended up even cheaper.
