I'm currently using a laptop for everything. But I want to get rid of all games and that kind of stuff and use it just for work.
I know how to put a pc together but I haven't been following the tech for a few years so I have no idea what the current prices/specs are. I want a pc build mostly for entertainment (gaming, movies, etc). I'm not someone who wants to run Skyrim with HD mods on 300fps so I don't need any high end stuff. I would just want a pc that is capable of running everything on medium graphics and the very intensive stuff on low graphics. I don't care much about startup/loading time so I don't need an ssd. I already have a keyboard and mouse but no monitor. I also have a legit copy of windows 7 and 8 left.
What is the best option for me? Should I build my own pc or should I buy a premade one?
What processor, graphics, ram, motherboard, etc. should I look into? Also I'm in Europe if prices differ much.

some more things
-don't need cd/dvd/blue-ray (I have external one)
-no card reader
-no fancy Christmas lighting case thing.
-A decent amount of usb ports.

Would this be a decent (semi) prebuild?

HDD: 500gb 7200rpm
CPU: AMD® FX-4100 (4x 3,6 GHz)
RAM: N/A
GPU: ATI Radeon HD3000 (onBoard)
MB : Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P
PS : 420 W
I guess I would need to add a GPU and RAM.
What GPU would be ok with it and how much RAM should I get?
