I recently obtained a hard drive from a friend. She told me that it may have been fried in an electrical storm but she didn't think it was likly. So I replaced my old hard drive with the new one and all my OS installers say that i have no hard drive connected I've tried XP and 7 (and when i had no place to turn) Ubuntu and still they wont recognize But thats not the worse part... Now It won't recognize my OLD hard drive and my bios says that there is no hard drive connected Can someone please help? My old hard drive is a Western Digital WD caviar WD2000 with 200GB (sucks i know) and the new hard drive had its label scratched off all I know is that its 500GB with 7200RPM
