There hasn't been one of these threads for a while, and these games were awful fun back in the day so me and some regulars thought we'd try this thing out for another go. [B]For those unfamiliar:[/B] CaPaIO is a sort of "roleplaying" game where you make a planet, build a fleet of starships, and fly off into space to further the devlopment of your civilization and conquer other players so that you can be the one at the top! Now, this time around we've made some changes to the way CaPaIO works. The two main additions are that I as OP will be serving as a sort of "dungeon master" who oversees and regulates events/situations that occur in the game universe. I will also create interactive situations which can be used to your advantage to boost a certain aspect of your civilization. This is generally how your ships should look in terms of size when displayed on the main map. Whenever you engage in combat with other entities, you will do this sort of zoom. Above the planet of Hazus Tiberius, a partial hull of what looks to be a massive vessel under construction is swarmed by construction drones, sparks light up the hull endlessly as the little drones move in, weld sections, and retreat to examine their work.[/i]

It gets closer towards one of the asteroids as it opens fire on it. The asteroid explodes from the blast. By it's size it means it could contain smaller ships, or probably one small vessel. It pushes forward, preparing to enter asteroid field. The crew had no sure what could be behind it, as well as Captain didn't, but they we're prepared for whatever was waiting out there. (Yes it's supposed to be big, but I seen much bigger ships than that.)
I think you (and tele too) are misinterpreting the size rule. Sprite-wise, the size of your ship's fine, but probably not in the map view. The map view's meant to give an oversight of the map, with the actual sprites sized down for a slight bit of realism, but mostly to avoid clutter. You're supposed to use the zoomed-in view to show your finished, detailed sprites in full size, and to show whatever action/interaction they may be doing in greater detail. In your case, the ship's sprite is fine, it's not too big of a sprite at all, and there are certainly bigger ones, but you're not supposed to use it in the map-view, [I]unless[/I] it's merely a representation of a much bigger sprite (Which you would in turn use for the zoomed-in view). Anyway, the GM should include some zoomed-in maps for the different asteroid fields, so that people can actually use zoomed-in view there much easier.

A refinery is quickly built inside the asteroid with a landing pad and mining drone dock along the outer edges. There are many "storms" of varying colors on the planet, and the planet itself cannot be viewed from nearby, as the radiation is so high any electronic device will be instantaneously destroyed, as well as all life. The planet appears to be increasing in mass at a massive rate. However, a strange signal is emitted from it, and appears to be undamaged from all the radiation. It is only a extremely loud high-frequency beep though.

A colossal pumpkin full of writhing vines houses extreme amounts of The Kin; Pumpkins possessed by inter-dimensional creatures. The connection between these creatures and pumpkins is unknown, but what is known is that they're here for a fight. Currently, a small mass of writhing vines and pumpkins form the fleet.

The planet have asteroid ring and 1 habitable moon. The largest moon which is not named yet is being settle down under protection of the fifth fleet of Obsidian Union Space Force. The fifth fleet, currently under command of Admiral Thomson C. Orlando, AKA "Big Tommy", consists of 1 Battleship, 2 Battlecruisers, 4 Cruisers and 10 Destroyers. It splits into 2 smaller group. One on "north" and One on "east". The Admiral is waiting for colony to complete the establishment.
