Given that their country is being invaded by Russia on nationalistic grounds, it's not surprising that Ukraine's nationalists pop out of the wood work and start gaining some traction with the general populous.
Nazis are really dumb
Nazis are really dumb
A lot of them in the video say they aren't Nazis but simply Ukrainian nationalists that hate Russia. I think these guys have a few nuts loose, but I feel the video tries to make them look and sound worse than they are.
It's a very Catch-22 situation in my eyes. Neo-Nazis are a fucking piss-off, but can you honestly blame people for looking for a Nationalist Party during an invasion of their home country? As horrid as this may sound, Ukraine needs a Nationalist Movement right now. Not in the sense of ohmygod racism and grrrr we only good race, but an actual Nationalist Movement that urges the Ukrainian people to defend their homelands from the Russians which are attempting to destroy their country.
As far as I know this nationalist movement is a bit radical and existed much before the threat of invasion from Russia, it's not the other way around as some people in this thread are implying. [editline]Edited:[/editline] Here is some more info about them, think what you will but if they're running the government (Many videos of the protesters and new government offices have it) its nothing but bad news http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ukrainian_Insurgent_Army

We're saying that they're getting bigger due to Russia's actions.
Russia reason for moving troops in is to stop them, but has actually caused more of them. Russia/10
Is it me or does the middle guy in the thumbnail look like Ghost from Call of Duty? Or does the skull balaclava(?) have a different meaning?
Cant you see Russia is trying to prevent WW3, Saving the world from these evil nazis and their twisted one nation vision!
Is it me or does the middle guy in the thumbnail look like Ghost from Call of Duty? Or does the skull balaclava(?) have a different meaning?
Just generic wanna-be badass.
Russia reason for moving troops in is to stop them, but has actually caused more of them. Russia/10
It's Russia as fuck because more Neo-Nazi nationalists means more legitimacy for their invasion
Given that their country is being invaded by Russia on nationalistic grounds, it's not surprising that Ukraine's nationalists pop out of the wood work and start gaining some traction with the general populous.
except these 'popped out of the wood work' long before Russia did. *rates dumb even though the article itself predates the Russian invasion lmao, you'll never change.
even during the protests Svoboda and Right Sector were gaining traction. their presence wasn't new back then and it's nothing new now
as pointed out already, this seems like a natural repercussion for a country UNDER OCCUPATION to have some nationalists pop up
as pointed out already, this seems like a natural repercussion for a country UNDER OCCUPATION to have some nationalists pop up
again this video predates the occupation riddle me this
Given that their country is being invaded by Russia on nationalistic grounds, it's not surprising that Ukraine's nationalists pop out of the wood work and start gaining some traction with the general populous.
The Neo-Nazis have been involved in the protests almost since the beginning.
I want that skull balaclava. I would never wear it
oh i think you would
The Neo-Nazis have been involved in the protests almost since the beginning.
And that's what was so disturbing, people in the west were supporting these "fearless brave revolutionaries" for standing up against their supposedly corrupt government, when a majority of the protest leaders have an obvious relation to fascism. People should do their research before supporting a violent coup with questionable motives. And all these inflated headlines about russia "invading" Ukraine are kind of... sensationalist. There is a large population of Ukraine that does not like the new government and wants to be protected from it, even if it means Russia has to step in and help.
To be honest, there are no rights here. Russia wants to protect it's long term investment and keep an agreeable nation under arm. Ukranians are divided.
You are late, we already know but they aren't that substantial.
Beginning in 1943, the UPA adopted a policy of massacring and expelling the Polish population of Volhynia and Eastern Galicia.[72] The ethnic cleansing operation against the ethnic Polish population began on a large scale in late February of that year and lasted until the end of 1944.[73] In Volhynia deadly acts of aggression, including the mass murder of Poles, occurred throughout 1943 before spreading to eastern Galicia in early 1944. In June 1943, Dmytro Klyachkivsky head-commander of UPA-North made a general decision to exterminate all male Poles living in Volhynia.[74][75] July 11, 1943, was one of the bloodiest days of the massacres, with UPA units marching from village to village, killing Polish civilians. On that day UPA units surrounded and attacked 99 of Polish villages and settlements in three counties – Kowel, Horochow, and Włodzimierz Wołyński. On the following day fifty additional villages were attacked.[76]
'good people' fuck off lmao
I'm quite sure nationalism is the main cause for this entire crisis. You can't solve the problem with more nationalism.
'good people' fuck off lmao
Did you even read what's on the site? You're stupid enough to ignore every other source and head straight to wikipedia. Is this your primary source for everything? But of course, it's you again, you never bother to actually study the whole story behind this and the only thing you're really capable of is quoting a wikipedia article and saying "fuck off"
I'm fairly sure that the sensationalist Nazis are very powerful, they manged to expel Jews from Kiev and completely Reform the Ukrainian language to be completely free of Russian and Latin.

The war crimes committed by Ukrainian nationalists is well documented and undeniable.
