Hi! Im thinking about getting a VPS and im wondering whos the cheapest host. I live in the UK but dont give a damn where its hosted if the latencys anything below169. Id use it for an array of things which would involve web hosting and maybe the occasional game server here. Id also probably use it for remote Linux terminal work when im away from a proper Linux box. Id prefer something with 2 cores and about 1GB of ram and a decent connection. Anyone know of a really cheap price for something like this? Thanks!
buyvm when they're not out of stock

MomentoVPS is about 6.50 EUR, and they use bitcoin, so it's under 0.1 coins/month. I earn that in 3 days with an HD5850.

I'm using DigitalOcean. They're using KVM instead of OpenVZ and they have SSDs for storage. The only problem is that the 1GB tier only has one CPU core. $10/month. It works really well, I've been using it for a few websites, mumble, minecraft and an IRC bouncer and it handles everything just fine.
Unrelated to the thread but how much power does that use? Do you have cheap electricity?
Average power cost, about $1.50 for those 3 days of mining that earn me 6.50 euro.

Anyone heard of CertusHost? They any good? I will probably go with BuyVM anyway cus they sound perfect but CertusHost give 4GB of ram for $12 compared to the 1GB BuyVM give. With BuyVM you get a 2GB burst but I really want 2GB of ram if I can help it because I will probably do other things on it too. IGNORE: They only offer 1 core. Never mind. Still good deal though!

Been looking into it and I think im gonna go with BuyVM for sure. I can get 4 Cores, 3TB of BW and 1GB of ram for $12.50 a month. Only 60GB of HDD space but for what im doing I couldn't care less about that. Thanks for the input guys!
