I ordered a ukulele the other day, still waiting for it to arrive, but I'm already preparing by looking up tutorials and whatnot.
I never played a ukulele, guitar or other similar instrument in my life (I do have a good sense of rhythm though).
I'm trying to learn ukulele within one month for reasons. Any good tips and tricks?
err... you're not going to learn it to any reasonable standard in one month especially as you have no experience with stringed instruments prior.
super mario is one is see being cracked out by people who can't play either, try that can't be that hard to learn.
I don't know, ukulele is reasonably easy to pick up so if you went at it every day you could probably get pretty good. I started playing it without any prior experience with a string instrument and got to a playable state in a month. The basic chords are mostly really easy, the bit I found hardest was getting a strumming pattern down but that just takes practice.
The starting song that I see everyone play is I'm a Believer by the Monkees, it's pretty easy.
Yeah it's not exactly a difficult instrument. Anyone with experience with stringed instruments could pick it up in a couple of days, so a month may not be too unrealistic if you practice.
Thanks - I'll practice with I'm A Believer, seems like a good start indeed!
I think ukulele will be easy for you to pick up quickly, mainly because you can play a lot of songs with just a couple of chords, and from there you add a chord or two and before you know it you have all of them down. I'd recommend getting Jim Belof's Daily Ukulele book:

It has 365 songs, a lot of which are a couple of chords. The chord diagrams you will need for each song are right on that page so I just learned everything straight off of that. If you just play around with one song most days then you'll have it down in no time.
