This belongs on fast-threads.
Studied Ancient Greek for 1 year, Latin for 2, Russian for 3 and French for 5 years.
Of those the only one I use with any regularity is French.
Danish is my first language, learned German fluently after that and then English in school.
I will learn Russian in about a year, going to be exciting.
To be honest, I never actually paid attention in foreign language classes because I'm lazy, and my language teachers suck. Really bad.
The woeful Dutch language is my main language and my secondary is English, I prefer to use English as it is way easier to use grammar-wise.[sp]And my grammar still sucks anyway.[/sp]
The only reason I picked it up was so I could understand games and movies properly.
English is foreign where I live, so yes.

I learnt Italian for several years and will pick up French this year for travelling purposes. If I like French, I'll definitely do a proper language class when I return.

English is on par with that in terms of skill.
Swedish should be my secondary language, but fuck that, not learning it.
I know a wee bit of German and Latin, too!
