In a posting on one of its Web pages, the group claimed to be targeting live streams of the speech, to be broadcast on the official White House site as well as many major news websites, including CNN. Television feeds of the speech weren't mentioned. "The President of the United States of America, and the Joint Session of Congress will face an Army tonight. We will form a virtual blockade between Capitol Hill and the Internet," the group declared.
The point of this is...?
"We will form a virtual blockade between Capitol Hill and the Internet,"
That kind of language is militaristic.. They should be very careful, otherwise shit could get quite serious for them.
I actually wanted to watch this.
How could they even block it off? I mean, they would have to block all outgoing TV signals to keep News Agencies from just repeating the TV signal via web stream.

The only people who would watch it through a live stream are the people who probably won't watch it anyway.
Calling them activists gives them much too much credit. I feel like if anything this will just give government more ammunition for the argument supporting internet regulation...
The title makes it sound like people were actually going to enter the House and disrupt the whole event.
Im on youtube now, I don't see any screamfaces, lolcats, trollfaces, chocolate rains, or Rick Astley. Just good old Barry.
Well the speech is over, and absolutely nothing happened. Not very big surprise.
Is that eve online?
