This should prove to be an interesting album, and definitely a departure from his previous works. Unlike other albums, this one has been specially produced by T-Bone Burnett. I've only heard one song so far, "I Should Have Sent Roses", and it was stellar. I hope that the rest of the album can live up to it.
I'm a HUGE Elton John fan, but I'm not too big on his newer stuff. However with Leon Russell this may prove very interesting
Dunno if anybody caught it last night, but they broadcasted Elton John and Leon Russell's concert at the Beacon Theater live. Elton sounds great, they played the whole album. He also pulled out a couple of uncommon songs at the end, such as "Ballad of a Well Known Gun" off the Tumbleweed Connection album.

Ballad of a Well Known Gun is one of my favourite songs ever. Sick, is this on youtube?

Apparantly his newer albums are enjoyable.
Might check em out.

This album is amazing....
Absolutely legendary collaberation.
Why has noone mentioned that Neil Young has appeared on this album? :v:
