The last Harry Potter movie for me ( I mean part 2 ) I wanted to see something like in Hellsing part 5 but [sP]instead of some huge conflict with Nazi vampires, instead a big conflict with wizards OUTSIDE of Hogwarts.[/sP] oh and the new Star Wars game
spore and MGSV's story
to be fair konami rushed hideo but yea the pacing and story where much better in MGS 1 - 4
Diablo 3
Diablo 3
won't be getting it untill they remove that online drm,.
watch dogs
wasn't that just a generic revenge story
Rome 2 total war
Spectre fuck that movie
Spectre fuck that movie
what is it with Bond movies and villains not killing the hero when they get the moment.
hotline miami 2 gameplay wise
Fallout 4 in a way. The story and ending didn't live up to expectations, and radiant quests are a general annoyance. Although pipe rifles are a cool concept, they're pretty much useless unless you just have .38 ammo left, or upgraded them to take different ammo. I don't mind the voiced protagonist too much, but it will make modding a lot more difficult for custom quests and also the voice dialog wheel is bad. Also, some of the places like Diamond City don't look big and grand like the concept art (I'm aware that finished products will rarely look like the concept art, and also engine limitations). But of course, Fallout 4 is still a great game, despite it's flaws.
Duke Nukem Forever.
Star Forge to the point that I used that "Remove from library permanently" thing that Valve recently implemented
Star Forge to the point that I used that "Remove from library permanently" thing that Valve recently implemented
It's a shame too because it had so much potential.
Final Fantasy VII I didn't care for how the CGI sequences were too long and couldn't be skipped. I wasn't too fond of how the equipment system was simplified to just weapon and armor. The only character I liked was Cid, mainly because for some reason he reminds me of Dennis Leary. I also find it funny how roughly 75% of the time when I admit I don't like Final Fantasy VII, people react like I went over and kicked Jesus in the nuts or preformed some other disrespectful move to some sacred figure.
Golden Sun 3 Way too easy, no battle mode, hard mode, new game plus, no save data transfer. It fell short in so many ways compared to The Lost Age. The graphics were nice though.
Watch_Dogs Fallout 4 Battlefield 4 Rainbow Six Siege (I recently just returned this, receiving my money back. Thank you Steam.)
Aliens: Colonial Marines
Interstellar
Iron Sky I expected space nazi war goodness. All I got was a 2 minute invasion and the rest being anti-america propaganda and uninteresting bollocks about a black guy who became white.
Fallout 4 What a crap rpg experience that was.
The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty. That movie had some really cool scenes, visual wise. But I can see what Ben Stiller came up with on his own. For example, he drifts off and daydreams about his fantasy girl and he says he has the Benjamin Button disease and it shows him as a little old man, which was really fucked up, and creepy. I enjoyed the movie a little, but I was pretty hyped for it 3 years ago.
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
I don't know if this also counts, but back when the movie The Village came out, I was really hyped to see it, thinking it would be a great horror movie (the trailer sure made it look like that). Man, was I dissapointed. Also Skyrim in a way. Having played many, many hours in Oblivion, I was really hyped for this one. I felt a bit dissapointed when I found out about how classes worked in Skyrim and the main quest was pretty terrible, among other things. Still put in a lot of hours in it though, but I expected more from it. Watchdogs Diablo 3 (it's a lot better now) GTA V
[del]Dragon Age 2 and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. Also Guild Wars 2 in a way. It's a very good game, I've just always wished for a true sequel to the original.[/del] Edit: After thinking about it, my biggest disappointment has been Wildstar. That game's fall from launch to now has been nothing short of embarrassing, and I really feel for the developers who poured their hearts into that.
Saints Row 3 was a massive disappointment for me. I still had fun with it, just nowhere near as much fun as I did with the previous game.
Destiny Halo 4 Halo 5 Doctor Who Series 8-9
I got so excited for Watch Dogs I preordered it and the season pass Playing it made me feel like I was deflating
It's an old one but Legacy of Kain: Defiance. They decided to wait for the third game in the 3D trilogy to completely change the gameplay and switch to fixed camera angles, making it worse in every conceivable way. I don't think any game has disappointed me so much.
