So after I heard that only Samsung Galaxy S 4G got the Gingerbread update. I finally decided to root my phone. I did the easy way after I bypassed the verification signature or some crap. I rooted using a program from the xda-developers. After I reinstalled the packages as instructed, I rebooted my phone. Superuser Permission appeared on the app drawer, but crashes when I pressed the logs tab. I tried Titanium Backup and Rom manager from Clockwork. Both said I didn't have root and one of the app mentionrd that i dont have this "su" file from \system\bin. I used the file manager and the file is indeed missing. So facepunch, what am I doing wrong?

Your best bet would be to ask around on xda for a more specific issue like this
