FX has locked up a deal with Danny Boyle, Simon Beaufoy and Christian Colson, the team behind “Slumdog Millionaire” and “127 Hours,” for a 10-part miniseries set during WWII named Telemark
Beaufoy will write the project, based on the story of the British-trained Norwegian resistance fighters who sabotaged Hitler’s nuclear development program

Said Boyle: “This is one of the world’s greatest stories, and we want to tell it on an epic scale.”
I must say, the lineup for FX is looking really amazing. Continuation to terrific Justified, The Americans and American Horror Story, and now two new original series (TV adaptation of Fargo being the second one). It really looks like golden era of TV series.
I'm loving all these new mini-series honestly from AMC and now FX

just the whole popularity of them is really cool
Don't forget Sons of Anarchy is on FX. That is going pretty damn well at the moment.
I read this as Frankie Boyle and thought this would be some kind of hilarious piss-take. Disappointment (and subsequent excitement) followed.
