What appears to be a US military base in a "Wildlife protection area" https://www.google.com/maps/place/33%C2%B051'47.9%22N+116%C2%B057'12.9%22W/@33.8633091,-116.9541352,331m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x0!8m2!3d33.863308!4d-116.953588 It looks out of use but the complex next to it makes me wonder if it's a bunker.
It looks totally abandoned.
It looks totally abandoned.
The bunker itself looks decommissioned but if you scroll up to the place with the pool, that's behind a wildlife gate that says federal property too. Has its own water filtration system to the north and a branch-like area to the right. To the left, there is an obvious missile silo, estimated 23-25ft diameter with a metal hatch. Even further down the line, two storage warehouses for military vehicles. It shows some neglect but I'm almost sure it's in commission still. Military vehicles go down that path seldomly but often enough to make me think they're changing the guard. Besides that, the road shows some signs of use. The complex to the Northeast looks like a good example of a rec center to me. The bunkers are cold war era as well. Hardened and whatnot. To the north there are mortar hides, too. It might have been a range.
Searching for "North Korean Gulag" gets you an actual prison camp also has reviews
