Alt-rock supergroup A Perfect Circle are releasing a 13-track (or 19 tracks deluxe) greatest hits comp, Three Sixty, on November 19. The final track, a studio version of "By and Down," is their first new song to appear in nearly a decade. The five-minute Zep-style journey was written during the band's live re-emergences around 2010 and 2011, and is naturally moody, featuring what sounds like a gaggle of orchestra chimes and a melody that sounds like Dirty Projectors gone metal raga. I'm so hyped for this album.
Fuck "greatest hits" albums with new content
Now Maynard, where is that new Tool album.
Now Maynard, where is that new Tool album.
Right? Don't get me wrong, i love APC, but Tool's still my favorite.
I'm so hyped for this album.
I wouldn't necessarily be hyped for the album as much as I would be for the new songs. Unless you are just getting into a band, that's when a greatest hits album is nice.
I'm so hyped for this album.
It's literally the same songs you've heard before but in a new order. Why does anyone care about this?
Awesome. Haven't listened to APC in ages; had completely forgotten about them.
Holy shit yes.
Not so into greatest hits (pretty surprised they are doing one actually..) but a new song, hellz yeah. I know it is selfish.. but I keep hoping for more music from either Tool or A Perfect Circle. I mean, Puscifer has some good stuff, just does not move me the same. Of course, that is the point...
hella mad, I hope orestes is on there. they were great live at soundwave, crowd was off their nut. though, I still think puscifer the better out of maynard's 3 bands. I'd much rather prefer Tool. It has gone pretty much silent, Tool is just such a fucking amazing band.
How can it be a greatest hit if it's a new song? I guess if it was the only song in their body of work, it would be their greatest hit. Was A PErfect Circle a cover band before? Is this their first song, and thus, their greatest hit, sight unseen?

To be honest, when I first heard of Puscifer, I checkout a song on youtube and did not like it (sorry, cannot remember which)... since then I have only listened to a few songs. So I should be listening to them all really... shall hang my head in shame. :(
