So I rebuilt my PC, and it was running slow. I restarted it. All of the sudden, my mouse won't work. I've tried everything the web has said.
I cleaned it out, plugged it into a new USB port, take it apart and rebuild it.
NOTHING HAS WORKED.
Here are some things you should know:
1. I have a Windows XP.
2. My mouse will work on my sister's laptop, but not on my PC.
3. My sister's mouse lights up when plugged in, but it doesn't work.
Does anybody know how to fix this?
Any other devices using USB on your PC?
Also check your Universal Serial Bus Controllers group under device manager (Start -> Run -> devmgmt.msc)
If there is any items in there with the "USB Icon" with a yellow or red flag (Exclamation mark or an X) please post.
Reinstall the drivers from the XP CD if you still have it.
Personally though I had that problem on XP so I upgraded to 7 because I'm lazy.
Boot in safe mode and run a virus scan..

Makes me a bit suspicious.
All of these suggestions require the internet.
Unfortunately, I can't get into my computer because my mouse won't work. T_T
No one has ever had this problem. I DON'T GET IT. I'VE LOOKED EVERYWHERE.
Maybe your USB controller crapped out? Any other USB devices on your system that are running fine?
You can use Tab, Arrow Keys, and you keyboard. -_-

Running a Virus scan doesn't (I'm hoping you have an antivirus already..)
And you can browse with keyboard
