I've been looking into a netbook since my laptop now broke again (fans)
I know they are pretty much the same and all that, but I really can't decide what to get.
I want a netbook with the newest processes, windows 7 and it has to be robust and ready to take some bumps.
have a look at asus

or an IBM thinkpad
I'd go for an HP with the Ion chipset.

why dont you try and see if you can get replacement fans?
Any netbook with a dual-core atom, the ION chipset and minimum 2GB ram is more than enough to run Win 7. plus a few low-end games.
That specific netbook has probably the best Atom processor without integrated graphics.

Yeah, but i heard it makes alot of noise?

On the contrary, Robustness depends on the make and model of the netbook.

Oh, was he talking about build quality and what the shell of the netbook can handle?
What JohnEdwards suggested, but the reasons:
Nvidia ion chipset.
2GB ram.
1366 x 768 resolution. No more problems with 1024x600.
Windows 7.
Asus EeePC 1201N if you want power, 1005PE/PU for battery life.
The alienware netbook :smug:

I accidentally dropped a desktop PC from about a foot on top of my netbook when it was closed
I was like OH FUCK OH FUCK MY POOR NETBOOK
but then I opened it and was relieved to find the screen intact
just a minor scuff on the lid, thats it.
I'm the proud owner of a 1005HA.
