Save for some of the faces and the typical wonky Bioware animations, it's a pretty nice looking game. The environments especially. Also, strange that Morrigan looked like this in the trailer. I much preferred her look in some of the older screenshots... I'd hope it's just something to do with the animation/lighting/angle/etc. but who knows...
Looks like Dragon Age 2 with better visuals from the gameplay trailer. Just another pile of shit

So far after playing about 3 hours of it and my only gripe being my GPU is shit I can say Inquisition is a good game.
so will i like this if i thoroughly enjoyed origins
so will i like this if i thoroughly enjoyed origins
Sorta, the combat isn't as fast as DA2 but not as slow as Origins. So far I like the character and the Pseudo-Open world is amazingly refreshing. IMO it reminds me of SWTOR in a sense.
Anyone playing on something similar to a 680GTX? I'm curious about performance.
Origins is one of my favorite games ever, and Dragon Age 2 was one of my biggest gaming let-downs ever. I have done everything possible to avoid media, reviews, and development progress for Inquisition up to this point, so that I can go into it with no real expectations. I want to love it as much as I did the first one, so I don't want to build any unrealistic expectations of it!
It looks good, but it's really foolish to expect it to be on par with Origins.
Currently playing Inquisition with this: CPU:i7 3720QM @ 2.60GHz GPU:Intel HD Graphics 4000 (Dell) NVIDIA NVS 5200M RAM:8.00GB Granted this is on a laptop and the ONLY thing holding me back in my GPU not meeting the best specs. Regardless the game looks decent even on low settings of all things. Dialog is a lot more believable and less cardboard than DA2's, party banter is nice, combat is pretty fun too sorta. The Tact-cam is GOD AWFUL it's like they ported the console tact cam controls.

I've played it for many hours now and it just seems meh, did NOT live up to the hype of those reviews.
Anyone playing on something similar to a 680GTX? I'm curious about performance.
Since it's running on Frostbite 3, if you already have BF4, you can use that as a general idea of how performance will be like
Because you went into it wanting to hate it?
Actually no, it was just bad. I went in hoping it was a successor to Origins.
