I made a thread like this about a month ago with minimal results, but the problem seemed to stop. Now it's back and getting more and more annoying by the second. Basically, sometimes when I'm using Firefox or the Minecraft Launcher, I'll click on part of the page and suddenly, it won't let me do anything near the top of the window (Where the back, forward, refresh, etc. buttons are). I click on them, but nothing happens, even though the rest of the page is fine. When this happens, it also prevents me from doing anything to my toolbar or even prevents me from closing the program unless I open the Task Manager. Alternatively, if I click on something like bookmarks and then go to a page, it won't let me click on anything on the page that comes up, but bookmarks and the forward/back buttons and all those things are still fine. I'm not sure what version of Firefox I'm running at the moment, but as I stated earlier, I get similar problems with the Minecraft Launcher as well.
Bump. It's working right now, but I don't know for how long. It's making my user agents fuck up like crazy half the time too. I'd really like an explanation so I can figure out what the hell is going on and how I can fix it so it doesn't happen in the future.
Have you upgraded to firefox 5? There is the off chance it could fix, then again it might not. Otherwise, check your java version and make sure it is up to date.

Java is up to date, and I'm pretty sure by now that the problem isn't just isolated to Firefox. It's doing it to everything but Steam and when accessing my files (Such as My Documents, My Computer, etc.). I have no clue what could possibly be causing this. I ran a virus scan and it didn't pick up anything. This has happened to me on and off for the past month, but it didn't become so serious until today.
well with what you have given, not much can be done
