• PC as gamepad for another PC?

Hey guys. My brother recently got into Cortex Command, and I'd love to do some multiplayer. I don't have a decent gamepad though - I tried a gamepad app for the iPhone but it was terrible. Now, I love the PC controls, so I was wondering... could I get some sort of program which translates keypresses on one PC to gamepad controls on another? If not, can you reccomend me a good gamepad or setup for Cortex Command multiplayer?
If you have an Xbox 360 controller, just use that.
I don't have one. Alternatively, is there a way to get the game to recognize a second mouse?
I've known games to support multiple mice. Ragdoll Kungfu supported up to 4 mice as once, so it's possible, but it's up to the dev to incorporate it. I searched a little and it seems that plenty of people want the multimouse feature as well.
Too bad Data essentially stopped working on Cortex Command last year.
