Today I went into McDonald's to check on my Job Application, am I right to be pissed about this?

I went into McDonald's today to check on my application, just to run in for a few minutes and ask about it. I asked the manager about my application and everything, and he seemed to have seen it pass through. Then he asked me to wait a few minutes and he'd get back to me on it. So I stood by the counter and waited for nearly an hour, from 4:55PM to 5:50PM, and he finally got to me again. Then when he finally talks to me again he says that he never saw the application pass through, even though earlier I told him who I was and he seemed to know. And he just tells me I should try to resubmit my application again. I just left, because I submitted the application a week before and you can't more than every three months I believe. Am I right to be mad about that? I mean, he makes me wait for an hour, just to tell me something he could have told me in two seconds that he didn't see the application.
Uhm. We shouldn't be the ones to make you feel emotion.
If your pissed off, then your pissed off.
But I would be pissed off if that happened to me.
you should be mad. call the CEO of mcdonalds and tell him your mad.
Sue.
Sue everyone...
Probably shouldn't work there as the way they treat you as an applicant is probably (if not worse) the way you will be treated as an employee.
They may not need any more employees, so they tell you bullshit. Happens all the time
If you really need a job, try a grocery store instead. Fast food is one of the worst industries to work in.

Thanks, I may try that. The only one is in a town that's a couple miles away, because I live in the middle of no where. But the cops there are the nicest douchebags ever. They pull you over for EVERYTHING, but they never give you a ticket. It's odd. They're really nice though, I guess they just want to make the roads safer while not making people hate them. :v:
I just noticed it seemed like I went off-topic. The cops are the reason I debate working there. I'm a safe driver and all, but I hate being pulled over.
to be honest you actually are better off not working at mcdonalds
ain't that weird how you've actually done something bad by joining mcdonalds? like it's worse than not having a job
