So I got hinted today that I may* be getting money for a new computer.
My budget is 1200USD.
I need it for [b]HEAVY[/b] gaming and video rendering.
I will probably get myself a 1080p monitor [May also get 3D vision], but currently my resolution is 1360x768.
I can reuse all peripherals, the HDD, the optical drive and the OS. [Although I may get it to run 64bit sometime in the future]
I live in New Zealand, but I want to buy from [del]newegg.com[/del] pccasegear.com.au [currently]
What can I use to help me find the right hardware? Or can you recommend hardware for me?
Thanks.
*will
Crysis/GTAIV on very high etc.

[url]http://www.ascent.co.nz/[/url] looks like it has reasonable prices. (If i convert those new zealand dollars to euros they are about 10 euro more expensive than a dutch shop)
What price should I look to spend on each component?
Also where should I start?
Get RAM since it doesn't really change much depending on your budget, either 4GB or 8GB and then get a i5 2500k and a decent motherboard to go with it that has 16/16 or 8/8 pci-e slots. Get a case that you find looks nice and has a good airflow, and then get a quality PSU from Silverstone, Antec, xfx, etc. Spend the rest on the GPU and any extras you need, like an OS and such. If you're dissatisfied with the final product go back and maybe find a cheaper case, motherboard, or slower/less RAM.
