So, i was looking around our school webpage and i came across Pupil Email, that we'd never been told about before. I click on it and it asks me for my login details, i log in and WOW! The discovery has been made, this is all people do in IT lessons now.
I've tried sending an e-mail from my school email adress, to my usual e-mail adress. I may have found the answer, because i got the test email back, i can send an e-mail to my school adress along with a proxy program. Im testing this out with a picture attatchment first, to be on the safe side. But if it works, you know i'm doing this solely for scientific purposes. Not because i want to muck about in class.
do your work and get good grades?
rate me dumb because you wont get good grades
Yeah we have school email, but I use a memory stick for putting shit into my docs.
Our USB ports are filled with putty and expanding foam. :saddowns:
You have school e-mail that will send mail externally. So what? You are going to e-mail yourself an attached proxy program?
I think you'll find any sysadmin worth their salt has disabled the ability to execute e-mail attachments, for the exact same reason you don't have USB ports.
Our computers at school have USB as well as the ability to run email attachments.
I haven't tried any .exes but .rars work.
Well you cant run .exe's from outlook, so i think i'll zip/rar it when i send it. But i have to check it out at school first.
if u have blocks at school so u cant get on websites u can also use command prompt to get on them
open run then type in cmd
in comand prompt type in
tracert www.youtube.com
then hit enter. youtube is just a example
then there will be numbers like this 64.233.169.138 type that into the web browser instead. and then u can get on youtube.
irelevent to the post i know. but i thought id share with u one of the things i found out while fiddleing with the comps at school
Wasn't there a thread the other day with a new school related proxy site?
I think it was www.helpmeonschool.co.cc
Then you had to click the ® next to the Title.
Finally, just enter student for the username and school for the password.
Wow shit, schools have email now?
Oh wow welcome to the year 2000 may I take your coat, seriously most schools have an email system

thats what i do but its frowned upon for using USBs. idk why its so bad.
all the cool teachers let us use them though. hell some kid copied Halo into a bunch of random folders for people to play. took them a year to find them all and remove them.

What the christ, your school sucks.
My school trusted us, and we learned alot more because of it.

what the hell? really? can't they just block usb's from being used on the computer rather than damage the usb ports?
Well I have got the password and the know-how to get past anything on my school comptuers :P My teacher gave it me xD

Don't use that shit, get a real proxy that is a lot less suspicious than getting ads every ~15 seconds from that one.
Set up a tunnel, or if your lazy
Use them for studying.

I get a 4.0 and I do this crap. You just have to finish you work first.
Scientific purposes?
I thought e-mails were science only in Saudi-Arabia.
Back in highschool I found an exploit in my schools email system that allowed me to browse the root directory of the main fileserver with no restrictions. After poking around for a while I found the question and solution papers to the mock exams which were starting in a few weeks :v:

You seem to be forgetting they put expanding foam in the ports to disable them.
I got myself transfered to classes I wanted by sending emails to the counselor that looked like they came from the principal.
We don't have computers in school :ohdear:
My school used Google Docs for about three months, all the while encouraging every student to complete all of their work using it and it alone. They shut it down when it came to light that they could be held liable for students who were approached by predators. Deleted all of the accounts, lost tons of people's work. GG
We can mail attachments. It's difficult, though, because the librarians (only place to access outside of a comp class) are fucking technologically retarded. Freshman year I was browsing FP; one of the librarians rushed up to my computer, panting, and told me to get off of the computer immediately. I had work open in the background, so I asked her why. Apparently, by browsing a forum I was trying to "hack the system". She pointed to some completely unrelated thread and told me she "knew it was about hacking" and that I should stop lying. Almost gave me a slip to the admin.
Stop talking about school computers wait till you get home, you can't play games you can't do anything other then go on facepunch/facebook and those can wait till you get home.
I never will understand why people care so much about going on youtube/facebook at school.
People would always ask me to hack into the school servers to unlock it and I would tell them to fuck right off. I did know how to get past the stupid proxy but every time someone would ask I'd tell them to mind their own business.
