Pretty interesting.
Ukip didn't do the worst out of the five! Astonishing.
[sp]100% unemployment under the Greens? Wow, even with everyone with money or smarts leaving the country, that's crazy.[/sp]
This is a great game.
I've had way too much fun turning Australian into a facist state.
This game is really biased toward "liberal" policies though. Literally the way to win this game is just to create a Green Socialist paradise.
Is it a good thread for sh tho
I tried to enact tons of socialist reforms on the US and I eventually got assassinated

Cities: Skylines has a similar problem

I've always wanted to try this game.
Also stricter gun control with the US always gets me either assassinated the next turn or a fucking gang uprising occurs causing me to die and the country to have a civil war
democracy 3 on point

As bad as Sim City Societies was, it did at least let you make a 1984 style big brother society with roaming death squads and forced "re-education" and "medication" for your citizens.
It's a pretty funny game concept from all the other terrible shit that's in it.

the trick is to make a paradise THEN go corrupt
Reality has a liberal bias.
No, seriously though. In Democracy 2 at least, if you did anything that seemed conservative, you were penalized. This included arming police, allowing for citizens to purchase arms, cutting back on foreign spending and not having a gas tax.
You would collapse if you just tried to steer things towards a more centralized government.

that doesn't seem very realistic

[sp]This is not a very realistic simulation of modern politics[/sp]
The Democracy series is hilariously flimsy
Well this is interesting. Seems to be a good way of getting people to think about the policies that the parties have and the effect that they could have on the country as a whole.
Good idea in theory. There should really be a patch that fixes the game preferring leftist policies. As it stands now, I have to start off with leftist policies for the first two terms before I can actually get to the right wing government I wanted without getting assassinated.
Why are people saying leftist policies are all biased? They somehow fucked up so much that the Greens bring about 100% unemployment. That's literally impossible.
-these policies have been tested in an advanced simulation software suite-
Those games are weird, got killed even when nearly everyone loved me and there was nothing I could do to avoid it.

Usually I'd agree but it's a fucking video game come on.
Reality has a liberal bias.
There's cases in which reality trumps liberalism.
