Hi guys Currently I have a fairly major issue with my PC that it just seems to hang/freeze for no apparent reason. This doesn't seem to occur when I have something like a youtube video or a game running in the background, and as I'm using my pc to do past papers for revision this is quite urgent, but even so this is really annoying. I booted into safe mode and did a restore to before the last windows update and it seemed to be all fine, but when I shut down it did some updates and when I went back on to my computer it froze. Just now I booted into safe mode and it seems to have gotten stuck on loading the drivers and I'm unsure as to what effects a hard shutdown could have at this time. This issue didn't occur until the latest windows update, which was about last Friday. Thanks
sounds like your ram is fucking up, how much Gb ram do you have installed?
Roll back the updates and set windows update to let you choose when to install them. A ram problem will not decide to show itself only when a software update is installed.
