Now to begin... I got into a new tech class for video editing and they require the use of a MAC ONLY program me being a windows savy since the start of my gaming. I have no fucking clue as what to do, but i have done some research and thought of something. Soon i'm investing in a new rig I know macs are just really a type of OS unless you buy a mac book or something. But is it possible to have three hard drives 1 with windows on it the second with the Mac software (And what is the mac soft ware I should get?) and the third drive for my video footage (from fraps, various cameras/exports, etc) Now the program is final cut pro and I'm sure I can keep the two drives in the rig and just switch to which ever via BIOS But I am not sure if i can record with fraps on windows onto that 3rd drive and be able to access it via final cut pro would have to format the drive every time I ran each os? thank you facepunch... hope you can help.

And I suggest using one harddrive, and you'll partition it into two parts. When you start the computer, if you set it up correctly, you should be able to choose whether you want to start up Windows or OS X. I'm not too knowledgeable about OS X, but I'm sure someone else would be able to help you that. I can however help you build a nice PC. [editline]26th May 2011[/editline] So if you're looking for a new rig, what's your budget? And what can you reuse (monitors, keyboards, OS, speakers, etc) This sub-forum might also be helpful for the OS X part of this build.
