Victorian police said they first encountered a 37-year-old man driving along Montague Street in Melbourne shortly after midnight. He was breath-tested and found to be over the legal alcohol limit for driving. "Police observed the female passenger in the car was also alcohol affected and warned her not to drive," police said in a statement. Just over an hour later the pair were pulled over again in Montague Street and this time the 27-year-old woman was driving. She was breath-tested and also found to have too much alcohol in her system to drive. "The pair were nabbed a third time on Montague Street about 3.05 am when the man was breath tested and refused to accompany police back to the station," police said. The pair had not been arrested but would face drink-driving charges, police added.
"hey, youre drunk, but thats ok, you can drive home" ... sounds smart doesnt it?
"hey, youre drunk, but thats ok, you can drive home" ... sounds smart doesnt it?
I think it was more like: First Time "You probably shouldn't drive" Second Time "You're driving. I told you not to :colbert:...now go on, get out of here" Third Time "What did I tell you? I'm gonna have to report you now :colbert:...now go on, get out of here :downs:"
Oh you darn Aussie, what a pickle you get in :downs:
Third time's the lucky charm, or not.
I'm still not getting it... why were they not arrested the first time, or the second time, or the third time? They could've killed someone. Australian government is fucking weird, they won't allow you to look at drawn kid porn without going to jail for owning child pornography, but then if you're caught drunk driving with the possibility to kill someone, they try and let you go, and don't even take them to the station! Why weren't they arrested the third time? They could have killed someone on the way home from getting their ticket for drunk driving. That's just being totally negligent as a police officer, and not caring for the safety of the general populace, which should be their primary concern. Aussie police are fucking retarded.
Jesus! that's tough luck!
Hmm, so they call it 'drink-driving' there? I've never heard it called that way (Drunk driving is what I hear).
Aussie police are fucking retarded.
Stop generalising. (It's the focking English (UK) way of spelling it - take your 'z' and shove it.)
Why did they let them go after the first time
Stop generalising.
It's not generalizing since the news article didn't say anything about the officers being reprimanded for their actions (or rather inaction). Apparently the Australian police force feels like this is proper conduct. But yea, to be specific, Melbourne police are fucking retarded. Edit:It's not bad spelling you dweeb, it's the American English spelling of 'generalize'.
1st Time "Well, seeing as we're going to the doughnut shop now im going to let you off.Just go home" 2nd Time "One more time and im going to have take you in.Shit, i forgot to buy some vegemite. Sally will be pissed. GO HOME!" 3rd Time "Faaack this mate, your goin in.What, arrest you? Nah i'll just give you a court date."
I think it was more like: First Time "You probably shouldn't drive" Second Time "You're driving. Fine, take this ticket instead. :downs:"
fixeddddd
It seems to me lik every country, with the exception of canada, has a retarded police force
they must have been both extremely lucky and barely over the limit, the police here generally are assholes.
Title typo works with story :v:
