With just 10,000 tickets available for the series of eagerly anticipated shows, the Tate website crashed as fans rushed to buy tickets last December.
Each show at the Tate will feature one of Kraftwerk's albums in its entirety
Wednesday 6 February - Autobahn (1974)
Thursday 7 February - Radio-Activity (1975)
Friday 8 February - Trans Europe Express (1977)
Saturday 9 February - The Man-Machine (1978)
Monday 11 February - Computer World (1981)
Tuesday 12 February - Techno Pop (1986)
Wednesday 13 February - The Mix (1991)
Thursday 14 February - Tour de France (2003)
now that's what i call a tour...
I remember hearing about this a while back. I used to be obsessed with Kraftwerk, if this were happening back then my head would've exploded. Tickets are probably pricey as hell too.
Kind of weird to have them perform The Mix and Tour De France live since they're remix albums...
oh my gooooood

I thought they were studio recorded?

I probably should've phrased that better, they're more 're-workings' of older tracks that were done in the studio. Tour de France was one track they did in the 80s that they remixed the same way, I think. Still a bit odd to perform them live.
