Has anyone here heard of the comic Scud: The Disposable Assassin? In my opinion it has got to be one of the most original and funny comics I've ever read. I'm too lazy to write down a plot summary so here's one from Wikipedia: The protagonist of the series is Scud, an average Heart Breaker Series 1373 model assassin. On his first mission, he is sent to kill Jeff, a rampaging female mutant with mousetraps for hands, an electrical plug for a head, and a squid for a belt. Scud glances in a mirror and sees the warning label on his back explaining how he will self-destruct upon completion of his mission. Realizing that he doesn't want to die, Scud mortally wounds Jeff, shooting off her arms and legs, then takes her to a hospital placing her on life support ensuring their mutual survival. The main plot follows Scud's career as a freelance mercenary and assassin, working to pay off Jeff's medical bills. So anyone here heard of it?
Two secs, Da dum! Really enjoyed the Scud series. I read it just about a month before the final few issues came out (just when Scud had found the horse after the incident with Jeff). Really like the shorts Rob has done (Robot Bastard and some stuff for Shara Silverman Show (think that's right)). Bit of shame he hasn't done anything since comic wise. He helped at the Oscar Awards and still doing other projects for TV. I've been looking for those action figures! They're so hard to find here :|
I've been looking for those action figures! They're so hard to find here :|
I just wrangled them off the site as they where randomly on stock one day. Too long old time to get to me as there was some shipping/warehouse issues. Annoyingly, I know there are better ones out there too.
There's a Scud model in Sven CoOp. I didn't know who he was until now.

Scud was in Sven? I can't seem to find pictures, does anyone have any?
