Some of those powers look suspiciously simple to ones from prototype
This is just like a big dlc for Saints Row 4, and it is so ridiculous it's bad. Saints Row 2 was a non serious game in a serious world, which made game awesome, SR3 was fun but it was much worse in a sense that it was dumbed down and much more wackier so it's not cool anymore.
I'm in.
I never liked the humor SR3 had so that the trailer has the same "eugh, childish" humor is fine by me. All I care about is that it seems like it could still be fun to play.
I had a fucking awesome time with SR3, both multiplayer and singleplayer, not having any real replayability isn't really a problem for me either, I enjoy enjoying things once and being done with it anyways.
As long as they pack this full of new things (which this trailer doesn't really give much of an impression of one way or the other) then I'm game.
I'm glad to see that they haven't changed their vision after being placed within their new company and that they'll roll out with whatever they intended to roll out with under THQ, be it for better or worse.

Have you played SR2?

I have tried 4 times.

It starts off way too boring to get me into it, couple that together with all of the obvious compatibility and optimization problems and it's the perfect recipe for "I give up on this".
Hmmm it may be outrageous, and a little dumb... but a little bit of me cried with joy when I saw that massive turret and them screaming "MERICA!"

I failed to get into SR2 at first try too, but it really worth it. Customization and story is so good later in the game.

I fucking loved SR2, but I will defend SR3 and SR4 until the end. Most of my SR2 experience was me dicking around in the city with cheats with a friend and it only got better in 3 and will probably get better in 4 with all these ridiculous powers to use on each other.
If there's more than 2 player co-op, this will be an instant buy for me.
I like this and I think it looks fun. To me though, I'm not looking at SR4 as a Saints row game though.
It may have the fucking Name attached, but it's a completely different fucking series by now and I just think of it as a spinoff.
If this were an original game, it would be getting a pretty good look at. Saints row 3 was fun but the story was a let down and I hope they improve on that somehow. The combat looks varied and I hope it is better than the previous ones.
Troy Baker...hell yes!
I still think SR2 was the best in the series but I played on xbox so I didn't have the problems that people have with the shitty pc port.
I'm skeptical due to Deep Silver being part of this.

Deep Silver isn't doing jack shit with it, they're just publishing it, they've stated they won't interfere with the development of the title and that's clear to see from the trailer, it'll be exactly like if THQ published it.
A different name labeled on the exact same product.
