Audiences were less impressed by Godaddy.com's advertisement, which showed a close up extended kiss between supermodel Bar Refaeli and an unknown "nerd" called Walter. Did it really have to mention the Godaddy.com commercial? Like now people are going to go like, "Aww this is so nice that they did this." *reads on* "Holy shit, a hot model kissed a nerd. Gotta google this shit."
What did they preform? The last scene of Hamlet?
Why do they always forget his mother? Ever since they reported the guns were hers you never hear about 27 victims, just the 26. Thats fucked up man
media only cares about the children. You dont hear about the theater shooting victims. or the two firefighters killed anymore either.
The media cares about publicity. What gets more publicity. Dead children, or dead adults?
Imo, there are still lots of unanswered questions
What did they preform? The last scene of Hamlet?
An emotional rendition of: "America the Beautiful." [sp]If the article is to be believed[/sp]
how long are they going to parade these people around? "we're at the super bowl look how sad we are."
The media cares about publicity. What gets more publicity. Dead children, or dead adults?
hell, there was that super bowl ad that aired that used stock photos of kids, a piano rendition of God Bless the U.S.A. and a child speaking over it all. it's a little gross honestly.
Nothing against them, it just seems like they're being commercialized.
Nothing against them, it just seems like they're being commercialized.
No money was made.
No money was made.
yeah they're not the ones making money. its the television networks, advertisers, etc.
hell, there was that super bowl ad that aired that used stock photos of kids, a piano rendition of God Bless the U.S.A. and a child speaking over it all. it's a little gross honestly.
God bless America indeed. What a blessing.
This is why I chose to not feed into any of the Newtown, Connecticut media craze. I specifically made sure that not a Nielsen Rating tick went towards the bonanza, because it just inspires other crazies out there to emulate it.
yeah they're not the ones making money. its the television networks, advertisers, etc.
It's the fucking superbowl, they get enough viewers. Some kids aren't going to bring in any more.
Imo, there are still lots of unanswered questions
Yes, there are very many unanswered questions, but I doubt any of them know the cure for cancer or where there's intelligent life in the galaxy, so I don't see what that has to do with anything.
media only cares about the children. You dont hear about the theater shooting victims. or the two firefighters killed anymore either.
Media exists to sell itself. This is the nature of all businesses.
this is just outright sickening jingoistic commercialization.
