I only upgrade my phone every 2-3 iterations. There's no point buying this is you already have the S8.

I haven't been able to upgrade my phone in ages, I'm dying to get something like a Note 8 or an S8 though. I'm still on an S3. :v: Oh well. Money.

I had a Note 3 for years and never felt like there was any reason to upgrade until I picked up the S8 at the end of last year. Prior to that it didn't really feel like there was a substantial enough reason to upgrade, but I'm pretty happy with my S8 and feel that it justifies it if you're looking for a new phone and have the money.
I can't see myself upgrading until this phone either dies or the S13 has some big new thing that justifies the upgrade.

When you get the money the price of the S7 will probably drop. I've actually been using one since October last year and it's impressive. Killer camera, good build, colourful and a bright display and the software is pretty good.
s8 was a pretty nice jump forward in phone design, i don't plan on upgrading from it anytime soon

There's probably no point upgrading if you're on an S7 either. Fancier camera and a somewhat faster phone when my S7 Edge is already blazing fast doesn't impress me.
Phone cameras will never be as good as an actual dedicated DSLR so I don't get the obsession over them anyway. It's pretty wank.
