[t]http://files.1337upload.net/2014-07-07_03.31.55-23d229.jpg[/t] pretty curious about this. i found this dude in the ceiling of my room late last night. at first it was hanging just by its two front legs but later pulled itself up properly. today when i woke up it had moved a little but was still up there, and it hasn't moved for the whole day. like, at all. it's definitely alive, it twitched when i poked it slightly. i'm also pretty sure it's a male, judging by the huge size. what drives it to just, eh, hang out in my ceiling? won't it starve? is it so terrified of the jolly eight-legged guy living under my radiator that it's frozen with fear?
crane fly?
Maybe it's a mayfly or whatever the fuck those huge insects that look like mosquitoes are.
It's a mosquito hawk, they eat mosquitos. They are bros.
its a baby pigeon
It's a North Korean spy. So I suggest killing it, that way Kim Jong-un won't know if that Seth Rogan movie got released.
From wikipedia: The larvae of some species are carnivorous on other small invertebrates, sometimes including mosquito larvae. Many adults, however, have such short life spans that they do not eat at all. Which is why he's not moving.
so he figured out his time is at an end and came to my house to die? touching, the spider can eat it later
Probably he was like "Oh man, that looks like a house stock-full of hot, horny mosquito-hawk-ladies, I am SO GONNA GET LAID!" and then he came in and it was just you and he was like "Oh. Oh... Right..." and just.. Sat down, lost his will to go on, even when poked.
I had same chilling in the ceiling, but he was literally hanging over the ceiling fan. So, living on the edge. :v:
You've never seen those before? I've seen them since I was a wee lad and I remember all of the times both the boys and the girls would freak out over them in grade school.

It is crane fly, and they do not bite and fly like drunk, except if you live in Florida where there is a huge mosquito that looks like crane fly but is actually mosquito
