Hypothetical: Radical Opposites: Living in Communist vs. Fascist Society

Hypothetical Question: If you had to live in either a radical leftist society, or a radical right-winged society, which would you decide, and why?
It's just a fun little question that I've asked a group of friends before and it was just amusing to listen to the conversation. Eventually we agreed that even though they're complete opposites, they seem quite similar once you sit and think about it..
Perhaps the political spectrum makes a full circle if you stray too far to the left, or right.
Oh and for you political noobs: Radical Leftist= Communist (Or radical socialist. Whatever.) Radical Rightist= Fascist.
You have to decide between left or right, nothing in between.
radical left/communist state
I'd choose radical right-winged society... This has worked for the people of the society, at least...
Fascist, Actually makes sense and works
Something tells me that a lot of dumb ratings are going to be sent out in this thread.
radical right.

they're well-deserved
Rating dumb anyone that's opposite to your believes is just dumb...!
What exactly would this fascist society entail? A fascist society can be quite pleasant as long as you agree with the policies.
Is there one that is between them? Like not so Communist but not so Fascist either?
Depends. If the communist country is actually communist (i.e. no government, resources are spread according to need e.t.c) then left-winged radical society any day.

At either side of the scale you're fine if you agree, you're fucked if you don't.

Like that won't happen in a communist society...
I said fascist because if you play your cards right you can become powerful.
Its not as simple as that,
A radical right winger would also want a completely capitalist economy and fascists don't really want that, since they want control.
I say communist because when there are large problems with communism it becomes fascism i.e. when the leaders ignore democracy.
I'd love to be born into a working communist world, it's just getting there that's the difficult part.
Communism is impossible for the time being since to become rich you must exploit, causing the exploited to become poor so you create an inbalance. There is no balance in the world right now.

That's the whole point... Communism is an idea, can't be implemented... It's an utopia, and will remain that way...
I feel pity for those people who voted fascism.

Why not.
People aren't willing to make short term sacrifices. That's why.
Also your saying you'd rather a regime controlled by people only looking after themselves, not caring about the working people to utopia.
Like I said I'd much rather be in a perfectly working communist system, because it is a utopia.
I feel pity for those people who voted fascism.
Vice versa
Why? Benevolent dictators can exist, perhaps they voted to live in a hypothetical society governed by someone who truly cares for his people and knows the right things to do?
I'd move deep into the forest, grow a big beard, and live off the land as a mysterious and elusive hermit for the rest of my days if either one of these systems were imposed.

The problem is that a human's lifespan is limited. A great and capable leader can be replaced with a tyrant.
Look at the differences of leadership in the emperors of of Rome. Or even Lenin and Stalin.
Vice versa
Then you're a brainwashed person. I feel pity for you.

That's the point. Communism is not 'compatible' with human nature... It's a perfect idea, but yet an idea... If communism was likely to succeed and be implemented correctly, I'd prefer it...
Then you're a brainwashed idiot. I feel pity for you.
Let's not call names.
Then you're a brainwashed idiot. I feel pity for you.
Derp, Because everyone is the same and should be treated as such
Life would be so fucking boring in communism

Once we know what drives Altruism then it'll have a better chance of being compatible with human nature.
Oh it can be compatible to human nature, but not without making radical changes and killing lots of people. If we shook the capitalist greed for money out of people's minds from birth it wouldn't be a problem.

I think that everyone has different qualities and has a different skill to bring to the community, we're not the same but we are all equal in worth.
