The Brazilian recently received medical clearance, however, to accept the January fight. UFC president Dana White announced the matchup on "SportsCenter" on Tuesday. The bout will headline the UFC 183 pay-per-view event "The greatest of all time, Anderson Silva, is back," White said. "Also back is Nick Diaz. So, we have made Anderson Silva, Nick Diaz on Jan. 31 in Las Vegas. It will be the main event and it will be five rounds.
THANK YOU BALDFATHER for those of you that still don't know who Silva is, he's the guy breaking his leg here (or look at beanhead's avatar) and diaz is the inventor of the stockton slap It's going to be a war!

more like silva TKO RD2 because he doesn't even want to fight anymore. Seriously I'm pretty sure the reason the dude is still showing up is because hes still contracted to fight. He's burned out, that dude hasn't be interested in winning for a while. His whole demeanor coming up the Weidman fight was "eh whatever happens happens" Not really the mentality of a champion defending his legacy.

"It was totally his fault"? That was literally a "shit happens" moment.
If Silva doesn't win this, I swear.
i didnt think silva would be coming back tbh
Silva feels like he has quite the ego recently (pre checked kick)
If Silva doesn't win this, I swear.
He probably will. Silva is hungry, and hungry fighters usually create one hell of a fight.
I am glad to hear Silva recovered well, I heard he was in extreme pain just recovering in his house. If he truly has fully recovered I can see Silva doing quite well, he is after all Anderson fuckin Silva.
He probably will. Silva is hungry, and hungry fighters usually create one hell of a fight.
I swear, I just want to see him beat the everloving shit out of Diaz. He can't end his career on a failing note.
i didnt think silva would be coming back tbh
He's contracted for quite a few more fights. He signed a 10-fight deal prior to the first Weidman fight. So its not that hes making a comeback, he has a business deal to honor unless he wants to pay out of his end.
i think his leg is going to draw a lot of attention during his next fights. seems like it's going to give the other fighters a huge advantage.
Watch some interviews with silva post leg break, he seems very eager to get back into to action now.
I'd expect silva to win this but after his last few fights anything could happen.
