Any MIDI experts here? Yeah I posted this thread on the M-Audio forums too, but seeing Facepunch as a great community made me post this here too.
So yeah. I've been googling for the past few days for a solution but I can't seem to find an answer on how to make my encoder knobs work in NI massive. I have the newest drivers for my keyboard. I am using FL Studio 9.
Basically the problem is, that whenever I turn on "MIDI Learn"-mode in Massive and turns one of the knobs, nothing happens. The midi learn just stays on and nothing gets binded to the function. The keys on pads on my keyboard work perfectly and I haven't had a single problem with them. I got the transport buttons working just today.
The encoders work perfectly in any of FL's plugins but any third party VSTs seems to posses this problem to me.
The midi learn -feature in massive wont work with FL studio for some reason, but you can do this:
Tweak around the parameter you want to control in massive, then in fl studio go to "tools -> last tweaked -> link to controller". Then just turn the encoder knob you want to use to control the parameter. That should link the parameter in massive to your axiom.

You can do this to any knob in any VST as far as I know.

YES!
Thanks a fucking ton dude! It worked.
Yeah sadly NI doesn't want to encode FL midi support because they're big time competitors so you have to do it through the side panel.
