Elder Scrolls: Dawnguard DLC Features Werewolf Perk Tree
The upcoming "Dawnguard" DLC for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim will feature a werewolf perk tree. We learned this during our live E3 2012 coverage, where Todd Howard from Bethesda noted that the game's first DLC will feature "a lot of content."
Among that content: The ability to play as a vampire lord or a vampire killer, a special dodge move where you turn into a bat, crossbows for more firepower, a new dragon shout called "Soul Tear" that allows the collection of souls, and even a family of weapons and armor that are more powerful than your Daedric gear. Soon, all the fashionable people in Skyrim will be rocking Dragon Bone gear.
We already knew that Dawnguard will feature vampires, who gain experience through sucking the life of their victims, and have their own exclusive perk tree, but did you know it will feature a new mount? One summoned from a horrible dimension called Soul Cairn? That's on the way as well.
The Dawnguard DLC will provide 20 hours of gameplay for $20. It will be available for the 360 on June 26, and for PC and PS3 some unspecified date after that.
Make sure you read that last line. "...and for PC and PS3 some unspecified date after that."
Finally the console master race gets to take the throne over the peasant PC's.

Good way to piss off the pc fans, hope microsoft's money was worth it.
wasnt this like the first thing they said about it

Officially pumped.
Happy for once that I am the only one of my friends that has the xbox version instead of PC :v:
Dear friends: Haters gonna hate
I don't quite get how Microsoft is allowed to do this. They didn't publish Skyrim, right? If not, then why can they dictate when Bethesda releases their own content?

PC already has modding tools and Steam Workshop, relax.
Waiting for some DLC shouldn't be that big of an issue.
Apparently the backlash Dead Money garnered didn't sink in. Oh well. Their customers can only take so much.

Customers aren't going to do shit about it, get real.
uh doesn't really bother me I'll have fun with my mods that make my game infinitely better kthx
It's only a fucking month. Its not that bad.
Hopefully by the time it's launched on PC. They're figured out bugs and patched it.
You fucking kidding me? This is month old news!

More like its been this way since FO3
And then there's those of us stuck playing Oblivion.
I hate game developers these days.
With the exception of Valve and a few independent developers.
Think of this as a good thing for those on PC, the 360 guinea pigs will have helped iron out any bugs that might be in it by ship time so when it comes out for the rest of us it will (hopefully) have fewer bugs in it making for a better experience.

Meanwhile in PC land...
Everyone is playing with mods that added most of these features months ago!
I'M A GENIUS

No you aren't, the Xbox exclusivity thing has been around for like a year.
No, I'm a genius. I think I'd know. I am after all, a genius.
Why are people making such a big deal out of this? It's not being released exclusively on the 360, calm down.

Because it's not fair to the consumer that some have to wait even longer for a release. It's no better than making Australia or Europe wait an extra month because "why not". It has nothing to do with production as the game is complete and being shipped. It's also no better than making some countries pay MORE because the developers don't seem to understand that American currency does not equal European currency. It's decisions like this that make me think the gaming industry is made up entirely of a bunch of fracking idiots who don't give a shit about their fans. But the fans themselves can't seem to figure out the reason why their ass hurts so much is because they've been willingly taking it for years rather than fighting it.
If you ask me, this exclusive bullshit is just as much as Microsofts fault as it is ours. Why? Because no one is going to do a fucking thing about it. Makes me think the majority of you enjoy anal rape.
Some of you PC gamers in this thread are amusingly impatient.
its a fucking videogame
calm the hell down
And this, gentlemen, is why game developers get away with shit like this.

My condolences to you.

Not only is it wrong, but even if it was true, consumers let game publishers make them their bitch.
Look at Origin. It became successful because if gave the consumers an ultimatum: "You want to play Mass Effect 3/Battlefield 3 on PC? Buy it on Origin. Don't want to? Too bad."

consumerism isn't a democracy.
