This happened less than a month after he was married to a beautiful and wonderful woman. It was a tragic accident where he was hanging onto a rope and using a wake board to ride the waves that were created by the river under a tree. He had used another rope that comes with the board to attach it to his ankle to prevent him from loosing it if he was washed downstream. Unfortunately that rope caused the accident and got caught in the roots of the tree under the water holding him down. The only time I ever play a game on a console anymore is to use his Xbox to sign into his account, boot up Skyrim, and just sit there looking at the last thing he saw in the game. I never move his character, save, or do anything since it wouldn't be his character anymore. He is frozen in time just like my young brother was.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/MzjJLBt.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/nwHazg6.jpg[/t] [t]https://i.imgur.com/Fj45S7O.jpg[/t][t]https://i.imgur.com/j1B2B7U.jpg[/t]
For those that would like to leave flowers for him in their world of Skyrim this may help find the place to leave them.
[t]https://i.imgur.com/ETokDrD.jpg[/t]
Taylor was growing up to be a great man. One of the things I feel a loss about most is that he never was able to know the joy of being a father. He did however get to see my daughter for almost the first year of her life and was an amazing uncle to her. I am thankful for who he was and the memory he leaves behind.

A Memory of my brother Taylor and his Dark Elf Skyrim Character named 'Bear' locked for ever in time. I miss you brother.
It is kind of weird, but if you die, and all those steam games with saves, would literally end up on the steam cloud forever.
Panning the camera round in that instant in that save game must be the most empty feeling ever.
I'm going to cherish the moments I have with my brother more so than ever now.
Its kind of freaky to know that now, in some ways, we can live on forever through the data we leave behind.
Man I did not need to cry tonight. RIP Taylor
Its kind of freaky to know that now, in some ways, we can live on forever through the data we leave behind.
That oddly reminds me of Solid Snake's speech at the end of Metal Gear Solid 2.
Its kind of freaky to know that now, in some ways, we can live on forever through the data we leave behind.
including, if you have kids, a big part of your genetic data
Its kind of freaky to know that now, in some ways, we can live on forever through the data we leave behind.
All those embarrassing posts you made when you were younger.
All those embarrassing posts you made when you were younger.
I still make those posts, who are we kidding here?
It is kind of weird, but if you die, and all those steam games with saves, would literally end up on the steam cloud forever.
Its something that is being talked about more, with the nature of the internet, that people in this era will leave behind a legacy on the internet through social media and other sites online. And its weird to think about and causes odd situations. Like when Leonard Nimoy died, about an hour or two after it was announced someone, I'm presuming a family member, was using his personal, verified twitter account to retweet consoling messages about his death. So the twitter feeds of his followers were covered in tweets about the death of Leonard Nimoy from Leonard Nimoy.
Jeeze that sounds horrible. Your're not supposed to just tie stuff onto your legs in a river, wakeboards are supposed to have a velcro release for this reason. [editline]10th March 2015[/editline] To know that your brother died panicking and suffering, realizing he's gonna die... gives me the fucking willies.
They were really descriptive with his death.
They were really descriptive with his death.
Well it was a pretty freak and random accident so it required some explaining as to how it actually ended with him dead.
Well it was a pretty freak and random accident so it required some explaining as to how it actually ended with him dead.
I mean it wasn't very freak or random. It sounds like he was doing something dumb and it got him killed. Still a tragedy, but freak and random would be like if he got struck by lightning or something.
RIP i actually started to cry when i saw those pictures
I saw this the other night on Reddit and my voice cracked multiple times as I read it to my husband. That's a horrible way to go, although I'm glad the brother was able to find a bit of solace in such a way.
That's it, i'm carrying a collapsible knife with me at all times from now on.
It's actually a really good idea all around, not just for freak incidents like this one. :( Cutting rope, self defense [humans and animals], sharpening, digging, etc. Lighters are also another one of those things where you don't think you need one until you do.
That's it, i'm carrying a collapsible knife with me at all times from now on. Getting your foot stuck and drowning is one of those hollywood tropes that i'm absolutely terrified of. What a horrible way to go, my condolences to the guy's family.
i suggest a kershaw blade, very reliable and sharp as hell blade.

As someone who almost drown this is downright terrifying, the feeling of helplessness sucks. Hopefully those involved will get at least some closure if any.

Almost happened twice in my life and I can say it's terrifying, the feeling that your slowly letting go and if you stay long enough, will be your last feeling. Rest in peace Taylor
