DENVER (AP) — A Colorado man who got a visit from police after a pizza delivery driver smelled marijuana at his home is getting free pizza from a rival restaurant.
Frederick Smith says police searched his home in Aurora after a Papa John's International Inc. driver smelled marijuana there last week. The driver reported a child was in the home at the time.
Smith told Denver TV station KUSA-TV that he's a registered medical marijuana user. Papa John's has said it stands by its employee.
One of its Denver-based rivals, Sexy Pizza, said Thursday that it would give Smith one free pizza monthly until Colorado voters decide a proposed 2012 ballot initiative that would legalize marijuana for recreational use.
Sexy Pizza says it'll extend the offer for life if voters pass the initiative.
Sexy Pizza sounds like a porno I watched yesterday.
Makes me wonder how did the delivery boy know what marijuana smells like.

It's not that hard to know, and knowing doesn't automatically make you a user or someone who hangs around users.

The shit he's gotta put up with.

Did it also come with free sausage topping?
Makes me wonder how did the delivery boy know what marijuana smells like.
I've been around people using it, even if you've never smelled it before you know it's weed
"He's doing things that don't affect anyone but himself, better call the police!" :downs:
He probably didn't tip him satisfactorily. Knowing he worked a worthless minimum wage job, the pizza man decided to troll.
That delivery man is a prick.
Delivery man reminds me one of those kids you work with that will tell on you if you talk about a wild party you went to last weekend.

According to the article there was a kid in the house.
Or maybe it was an elaborate plan to get him pizza forever.
What an asshole.
I'm fine with him smoking weed, but I don't think it's a good idea to smoke around a child
According to the article there was a kid in the house.
You're acting as if he is illegally smoking weed; He has a prescription.
If anything he's going to be more compassionate and gentle with his son/daughter.
"Sexy Pizza, said Thursday that it would give Smith one free pizza monthly until Colorado voters decide a proposed 2012 ballot initiative that would legalize marijuana for recreational use."
Does that mean if Colorado voters never decide on an initiative Smith will get free pizza for life?

Smoking anything around a child is irresponsible.
[editline]8th October 2011[/editline]
Whether it's legal or not.

Oh the horror.
Better jail everyone that smokes tobacco around kids as well.
That delivery driver sure was doing the honourable thing right there reporting that degenerate pot smoking cunt from infecting his community with aids. derp

Exactly, where is the fucking consistency?
People often drink around their kids too, better get them irresponsible cunts too for pursuing such abhorrent behaviour. "Just one?" fucking substance abusers
Oh the horror.

I'm of the mind that it is borderline abuse to smoke around a child in a confined space no matter what. It's impossible to enforce, but it still is bad.
If anything he's going to be more compassionate and gentle with his son/daughter.
No, not really. If it's a small child then it is potentially dangerous. His reflexes will be slowed, his coordination will be worse, and his judgement will be worse. This is not good around a small child at all.
I'm a delivery guy :(
If he lived by himself, which I thought he did, it wouldn't matter at all but seeing as he has a kid that is dependent on him, maybe he should lay off smoking weed because it might hurt his economy (but I don't think it's really more harmful than cigarette smoke, so it's better than that imo)
Excuse me, Pizza Delivery Boy, what business of yours is it what the guy is doing in his home? Fuck off and mind your own business. Go deliver pizzas or something.
Asshat.

I'm a good delivery guy. I won't tell on you even if you don't tip. It's called not being an anal tool.

Smoking anything else is fine though. Kill them with this, but not that.
Guys the kid isn't going to die because someone smoked bud in the same house as them. Plenty of people smoke cigs in their house, and over the course of a day they're more likely to breath in cig smoke than bud smoke.

Which can cause developmental issues. Smoke is bad for a child.

Then we should stop driving cars, burning wood, burning candle, etc. Someone smoking a blunt once or twice a day in their house is negligible to their kids.
Then we should stop driving cars, burning wood, burning candle, etc.
Why?
Someone smoking a blunt once or twice a day in their house is negligible to their kids.
Um no, in fact smoking two blunts is a whole lot more smoke than several tobacco cigarettes, so it's not negligible at all.

who the hell burns wood in their house other than in well ventilated fireplaces?
who the hell burns wood in their house other than in well ventilated fireplaces?
No one living. If you burnt a fire in an enclosed space like that you would suffocate pretty fast.
That or the fire would spread and burn down your house.
