• Computer Stopped POSTing Overnight

P8Z77-V Pro 3570K 8GB RAM Gskill GTX 670 Last night I was watching TV shows. I turned off the computer when I went to bed, and the following afternoon the computer wouldn't even POST, consistently anyway. The screen just stays black. There's no MoBo splash page or anything. Weird thing is that I've tried switching out the RAM sticks to see if that had any effect. I try one stick. Lo and behold it works. Once. After I restart it doesn't even POST again. After much fiddling and switching of RAM sticks, it'll work again, and the next moment it won't. So the computer is pretty much deciding when it'll work and I have no idea why or how. Can anyone shed some light into this?
I had a laptop like that once, it was the CMOS battery. Did you check to see if maybe it was loose or needs replacement?
I had a laptop like that once, it was the CMOS battery. Did you check to see if maybe it was loose or needs replacement?
It's a desktop. And I forgot to mention; I already tried removing the CMOS battery. Still no dice.
