Jurassic Park 'seque'' map and plot details leaked, reveals film is basically just modernized rehash
ut just for clarification, Trevorrow confirms that some of what we've heard (and seen in concept art) is true about the park itself: [sp]"Yes. Jurassic World takes place in a fully functional park on Isla Nublar. It sees more than 20,000 visitors every day. You arrive by ferry from Costa Rica. It has elements of a biological preserve, a safari, a zoo, and a theme park. There is a luxury resort with hotels, restaurants, nightlife and a golf course. And there are dinosaurs. Real ones. You can get closer to them than you ever imagined possible. It's the realization of John Hammond's dream, and I think you'll want to go there." [/sp].

"There's no such thing as good or bad dinosaurs. [sp] There are predators and prey. The T-Rex in 'Jurassic Park' took human lives, and saved them. No one interpreted her as good or bad. This film is about our relationship with animals, how we react to the threat they pose to our dominance on earth as a species. We hunt them, we cage them in zoos, we admire them from afar and we try to assert control over them.
Chris Pratt's character is doing behavioral research on the raptors. [/sp] They aren't trained, they can't do tricks. He's just trying to figure out the limits of the relationship between these highly intelligent creatures and human beings. If people don't think there's potential in those ideas, maybe they won't like this movie. But I ask them to give it a chance."
This sounds fucking retarded
I bet Ghana 2016 will look better than this.
Eh, thats not too much of a stretch to me. As long as its competently made.
The original was "Fuck! Dinosaurs!" This sounds like "Fuck, dinosaurs!"
Is the next one going to be "Fuck dinosaurs!"? Because I know an awful lot of Facepunch posters that would like that
Much will depend on the dinosaurs design, If they make it into a goofy hammerhead badger, its gonna suck.
No.
Make a movie that takes place a day after the events of Jurassic park 3 where the US millitairy is tired of all this dinosaur bullshit and they send in the army with tanks, A-10s, and various other things with guns on them too kill all dinosaurs and end it all. The movie follows a group of scientists doing shenanigans on the island while a full out war goes on around them.

So, starship troopers : Dinosaur?
No.

Why would they do that though, A napalm carpetbombing would wipe out the dinosaurs, if not directly, then by destroying all the lycene rich plants in the firestorm. And the dinosaurs would be wiped out from a comfortable distance.
This sounds fucking retarded
Yeah but a predator t-rex munching on theme park goers is the kind of retarded I might actually watch at least, it might be in that glorious so bad it's good zone

That's what they did in the book, I'm pretty sure
while it does sound pretty cliche, it doesnt seem like a rehash of the original

Could just make up some bullshit like 'oh no we put anti-air on the island years ago for some reason lol'

"We wanted to make sure the pterodactyls wouldn't attempt a rebellion."
Dino crisis 3, the movie.
Don't forget to make a pay-to-win mobile game to milk that Jurassic Park franchise to it's fullest!
A T-rex that sneaks up on you out of nowhere?
Looks like the director played some vanilla WoW and never got over UnGoro Crater.

I dunno, if people run off Lost World logic then somehow someone would be retarded enough to go "SAVE THE DINOSAURS" and get everyone killed.

No fun allowed
Honestly, I don't mind it being nearly identical to Jurassic Park. As long as it's done right, it'll be good enough for me.
I don't care just don't reboot the series.
It will never be as good as the first movie.
When i first read the part with gene-manipulated super dinosaurs i was like, ok, this could be cool.
But then when i read how they're supposed to defeat them i was like, please no..
Trained Dinos? I'm not sure they contain the necessary intelligence. Even raptors with their distant relation to modern raptors, would not likely be trainable. Fuck modern falconry is just "hey bird, go kill this thing that you would kill anyways, but bring me the corpse and I'll give you the tasty bits". Even that is difficult to manage, and those are birds, rather than some ancient reptile bird hybrid.
Jurassic Park: Modern age. Where the dinosaurs shapeshift into human form and infiltrate the government, and the people who actually know that it happened get shamed when corrupt scientists call it a hoax.
This is in the book.
Like I'm not even kidding, in the Lost World they encounter a Carnotaurus with chameleon camouflage. It never made it into the movies. This literally seems like they just straight up took the one dinosaur that didn't make it into the movies from the book and said "let's make a movie on that".
http://jurassicpark.wikia.com/wiki/Carnotaurus
I'm still hyped for the movie. If they pull it off well, it can certainly be good. The idea of trained dinosaurs seems stupid of course, but it's also something new.
The underwater dinosaurs and the tamed dinosaurs seem like good additions to the franchise, since it's never been done before.
We haven't seen anything, the movie comes out in over a year. It's too early to completely criticize it just because some part of the plot and a map are revealed.

Uhh that's nothing new. They also took ideas from the first and second book and put them into the other movies.
The trailer scene happened in the second book, the water boat scene and the pterodactyls happened in the first book and were adapted in the third movie.
This "trained dinosaur" shit has been a sequel rumour for the past decade or so. Nothing new.
How to stop a monster that was obviously going to murder everything it saw from day one? Good dinosaurs, trained by Chris Pratt's characters, including a regular T.rex and velociraptor.
Sounds more like dinotopia than jurassic park
