Advice for "Computer Help/Electronics Repair" Services (Pay by Hour, etc)

I've been considering offering assistance of semi-serious computer repair/electronics repair to other students around my university. As well as thinking about ways if I could make this as a source of income. I've done small time soldering, defragging jobs for my roommate, and a couple other people. However I think if I could offer services to speed up and optimize computers for others then I could have some source of income, nothing up the butt like so called "Geek Squad" (As I'm rather fed up with people paying high prices for services that do jack shit generally)
When I mean, repair and optimize I mean one time CCleaner, Defraggler, optimizing Windows Services, removing bloatware, hardware installations, solder repair for small electronics, etc.
I've also considered requesting a slot at say the library's lecture room on optimizing and repairing your computer (Donations, or whatever)
However I'm also concerned about liability of students holding me responsible for anything down the road that they think I've done. (I mean, its hard to mess up with Windows Services when you know what you're doing with BlackViper's recommendations).
Any advice?
