• Plasma balls and touchpads

Like an idiot I didn't read the safety warning that came with my new plasma ball. Had I done that, then I wouldn't have the messed up touchpad that lies before me. When I touch it the cursor jumps about all over the screen regardless of the direction and speed I drag my finger across the pad.
The radio frequency field produced by plasma lamps can interfere with the operation of touchpads used on laptop computers, digital audio players, cell phones, and other similar devices.
My question is this, Facepunch: Is the damage permanent or just temporary? And if it is the latter, how do I fix it? EDIT: Don't bother replying, I fixed it ...
when did this happen ? Try touching dirt and ground.
when did this happen ? Try touching dirt and ground.
I've already grounded myself. [editline]07:13PM[/editline] It happened a few minutes before I made the thread.
