Friend got his PS3 stolen, knows who did it, ideas on how to get back?

There was this Pedo guy who used to bother my friend and I last year. Apparently, he graduated, and has since moved on with his life. A few weeks ago, I found out my friend has been keeping in contact with him for whatever reason (I think it was because Pedo was the only one of us with a car at that time).
Anyway, for whatever stupid reason, my friend lent his PS3 to this Pedo guy, and now he won't give it back. I know the Pedo's cell phone number and the name of the street he lives on, almost nothing else about him.
How is this my problem, you ask? My friend has offered to pay me $20 if I can get it back, and I sort of need the money.
So Facepunch, what do?
knock on door, get on the floor, and grab the ps3. THEN RUN OUT LIKE A GEE
Go knock on his door, and just as he opens it you smash his nose into his skull with a bat.
Put a rock in his window, take the fucking console and piss on his face.
Then bolt.
Boot to door, Boot to face, Grab PS3, Boot it up at home, watch in horror as the CP starts flowing from it. also, OP your friend is a dumbass for lending out his valuables, never do it, i lent out my ATV and got it back in pieces.
Call the police?
bribe him with sex.

Fixed.
A serious answer?
Go up to his door and knock on it, ask him politely to give back your friend's property. I don't know what you can do if he refuses though, maybe contact the local authorities and explain the situation to them?
Go up to his door, kick his testicles, tell his mom he stole something, receive ps3.
Ask him. If he refuses tell him what a fucknugget he is.
If he has the receipt from when he bought it, call the cops, tell them this guy's got a stolen PS3, the cops check the serial on the PS3, and the serial on the receipt, they match, guy goes for a ride, and your friend get's his PS3. Simple as that.
