Loosing weight through diet, post your tips and tricks

I'm sick and tired of my body, being six feet and almost 300 pounds. I have started a rigorous exercise and diet regime with my fit brother.
I've got a decent amount of willpower, so it's gonna be hard as fuck, but I'm confident I can overcome it. What I dread the most is not the (almost) daily exercise, but having to completely stop eating fat food, snacks, soda etc, and limiting myself to one small dinner portion.
Does anyone have any tips to beat the hunger? Anything is welcome, from healthier snack suggestions, mental exercises, anything goes.
Why do you only have to eat once a day?
Just eat your normal 3 meals a day or something, just less of all the bad shit and cut out snacking.
If you go all hardcore and only eat one tiny thing a day, you will fail. Guarantee it. Dieting needs to be a total lifestyle change, not a quick fix. Could you see yourself eating one small portion every day for the rest of your life? If no, then it isn't a viable lifestyle change is it.

Of course I'm eating three times a day, I'm trying to loose weight, not kill myself :v: I'm just limiting myself to a (relative to what I've been eating until now) small dinner portion.

At your height and weight though, you can probably eat 3 full meals and still lose weight as long as you cut out the snacking. Limiting yourself too much just isn't good, in the short term you'll lose weight but in the long term you'll get so sick of this shit that you'll relapse and gain like twice what you lost just from binge eating because you feel like you're starving.
Here's my recommendation, eat 3 normal but healthy and clean meals a day and see if you're losing weight (You will, unless your normal meal is 2+ plates of food).

don't do this
crash diets do not work and as soon as you stop doing it, you'll gain all of the weight back.
you need to change your lifestyle, stop buying shit tier food at the store, don't go to mcfuck five times a week, and don't go from eating like complete shit to paleo in one day. you will feel terrible. ease into healthy eating

Paleo? Hahahaha. Eat 5-6 well portioned and varied meals each day(try to cut produced shit), count your calories, make sure you get all your vitamins, protons and shiz and hopefully at least try to work out. Running, rowing or biking are your best fat-burners.
i don't count my calories, I just eat less on a cut and more on a bulk

i recently started trying to lose the weight i put on last year after i had surgery on my foot. i couldnt walk, so sat and ate all day. so far i've lost 12lbs
just cut out all the shit from your diet. eat healthy, balanced meals. drink water and workout. hit the gym. run on the treadmills or jump on a crosstrainer. once the weight starts coming off, you'll be really motivated and keep it up
Here is the book that I read and decided to follow. You don't have to read much into it so see the emphasis on how many meals a day you should eat, along with what you should and should not eat/drink. It will really help you in your life. It is called How to Eat to Live.

How about that, if anyone truly wants to lose weight, steer away from the Quran of food a bit and ask people who actually have experience in this shit instead.
If you're into Islam, by all means read the Quran but this Quran of food presented up there sounds pretty ass.
Easiest way to lose weight is to eat volume foods that are low calorie. Shit like chicken, broccoli, carrots, oatmeal, bananas, protein shakes, rice cakes, etc. You could shovel this food into yourself and only eat about 2000 calories a day.

I heard a juicing fast can help spur you into a lifestyle of balance. Putting more fruit and veg into your daily meals or even just having a juice a day.
I literally just tried it for the first time... in a blender... and it was so good I'm buying a juicer to keep it up.
Cost for a full juice fast a day is about 14 dollars... 22 if you buy all organic.
Considering you're bettering yourself and it's about the same as buying three 5 dollar fast food meals, it seems like a good deal.
I'm gonna see how I like just supplementing it in and maybe try a 10 day fast once school starts. I'm going slow at first because other friends that tried juicing fasts were puking after the first day but after that they were good. But they were super super unhealthy. Oh trust me I know about fad diets. No, that's why I'm supplementing it in. It makes sense and the science behind it is sound. Most Americans are malnourished and a good way to get your nutrients in is through this. You also end up feeling full by the end of a full glass and almost all the mainstream recipes use a big variety of fruit and veg and all have different vitamins and nutrients in them so it's not like you're going on a "all spinach diet" Today I ate some stuff I've never eaten in my life because I crammed like 8 different fruits and veg into a blender.
I still don't see the reason, why go to this length when you can literally just eat clean food and achieve the exact same thing but without all the mess and trouble.
Except you get no protein from that.
If you care about malnutrition just get a decent multi vit. Fuck fruit.

I don't get how losing weight is difficult, people are making it out to be difficult as fuck, like you need to change your life around and embark on some great journey full of philosophical quotes about food and fad diets. I lost over 100 pounds and I didn't do any of that shit, I kept eating tasty food, I just made sure it came from clean sources and cut out the cakes and sugar out, bam 100 pounds lost without an inch of effort.
