Followers appear as an NPC resource within Skyforge. Completing missions demonstrates your power and that attracts followers. You can recruit adepts, also NPCs, who you can order off on their own missions to find you followers, getting you ever closer to becoming a god.
Oh cool I can recreate the Ori
it's a interesting idea but it wont live
When everyone is a god no one is.

That must explain Greece's current situation.
I want to beta test this game...
this game looks pretty boring imo
Cool idea for a singleplayer game.
Utterly horrid idea for a MMORPG.
Hit and miss

Well, I mean... relative to each other, but not necessarily to non-player entities. It does feel like the heavens would be a bit cramped at that point but from a lore perspective even players being minor gods could be an interesting jam. Not sure what exactly I'm being sold on in this game though, the description makes it sound like it's practically an RTS but the gameplay just showed solo combat I think? I'm glad at least the combat sounds more fun than your typical MMO sit-there-and-hit-hotkeys snorefest but there's already a couple of decent games in that category so unless they really pull through I doubt I'll end up playing it
Sounds a bit like Exalted the MMO. Closest parallel I could draw for this.
this sounds rather generic, and the fact they said "combat is a saving grace" is laughable given they followed it up saying it's basically AC or RYSE combat complete with finisher QTEs and a few special skills to mix it up
Oh, so like Final Fantasy 14, another MMO.
FFXI, FFXIV(ARR), and ArcheAge all let us swap classes as you go, I'm sure there's others

Trove, the newly open beta'd MMO version of cube world (that actually gets updates) also lets you swap between any class you've unlocked at your player home.
I'll be honest, I kind of want to give this a shot just for its world design. I really like the aesthetic.
Then again, I couldn't care less about MMOs right now, so I think I'll leave it alone.
