Need monitors for gaming and design work. Budget ~$200

Anyone have any suggestions for a good 24" monitor around $200. I want to get 2. I will be using them for gaming and design work. I realise an IPS or something would be better for design work and such but probably wouldn't be the best for games. (and im not made of money to get 2)
I was looking at the Samsung 24" S24B300H and similar Samsung model but I'm open to suggestions.
eIPS is actually quite nice for gaming, as it doesn't suffer from the high response time issues that S-IPS or H-IPS monitors have. It's also considerably cheaper and more "mainstream" to produce.
Only issue is that it isn't a "real" IPS in the sense that you don't get the full 24bit color gamut with them while you will on a nice quality H/S IPS. But the color gamut is still signifigantly better than your average TN.
Still, you're not going to find a 24" IPS monitor around $200, even if its eIPS. I'd just focus on any monitor really in the 24" range if your budget is around $200 for each. Roughly all monitors will pretty much be of similar quality picture wise at that price point, so you might as well just go for whatever company/brand you trust the most as far as build quality and lasting power goes.
If you want to save money focus on monitors with 16:9 ratios, though 16:10 is ideal for design work due to the extra vertical space. 16:9 however is mass produced and therefore cheaper.

If you want IPS and don't mind going down to 23" there's http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0062K9LXE/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=pchahe-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B0062K9LXE
$200, cheapest you'll find without going into lower resolutions. AOC is a bit of a gamble brand wise but people say this monitor works and does exactly what you'd expect for the price point.
Thanks for the advice.
Yeah I'm starting to think a regular monitor would be sufficient enough at this point. I've survived using my laptop the last few years and it isn't the best screen. If I really notice the difference I might upgrade after a while when I have more money.
I'll have a look at the those AOC's though but I think that Samsung I was looking at would be the best bet so far.
I have the BenQ G2420hd, it's a really good monitor and I've had no problems at all with it.
I purchased it for $235 about 2 - 3 years ago, but now it retails at around $170 (AU) which shows it has held it's price a fair bit.
Eventually I'll upgrade and get 2 more of them :)
