Did they remove the forced story missions? They ruined the game to me, I liked it when it was more sandboxy, I also really liked the heat mechanic the game used to had. I just had so much god damn fun, finding the worst, coldest fucking planet, struggling and panicking as I quickly setup a campfire to heat myself up, inching along the terrain, slowly and calmly trying to find a good spot for a snow base, I would then thieve some space heaters from the enemy camps and make my home even cozier. It felt like an actual survival game, and I loved it.
I honestly wish they wouldn't have these bigass updates after a long time between each one, because it just means I shouldn't bother playing the game until they release everything, but since they're just adding loads of shit to it randomly, I don't know when the best time is to do that.

So they have a weekly update where they add new quests and items, monthly update where they add new major quests, and mechanics updates like this would be announced well in advanced, but wouldn't affect the update schedule for the content
