Anyone ever been urbexing in Detroit?
If so, could you link to the post, or post here! :)
Also, I never went urbexing myself but I would love to see how it is. Sweden is such a fag country without any abandoned buildings. D:
Edit:
Wooh, 200th post!
I live 5 minutes outside of Downtown Detroit, which is not as abandoned as people say it is. The only abandoned building worth looking through is the train station and the Packard plant. The suburbs of Detroit and Flint (nearby city) are pretty abandoned and sketchy so I wouldn't really suggest going near them.
I live 30 mins from Detroit and about 15 minutes from Pontiac. I've been looking for good places as well. Still pretty inexperienced, but my buddy and I have been doing lots of research for good spots. If any of you guys ever want to meet up, PM me.
I have lived all over Michigan. Saginaw, Muskegon, Detroit, Canton, Alpena and at the moment I live in Bay City. But The best place to explore is Detroit. It's not very abandoned but there is some incredible graffiti if that's something you're interested in.

Fantastic pictures and descriptions of almost all major abandoned structures in Detroit and the surrounding area.
They also give tours!

I've been to this site before, but I just found this: http://www.detroiturbex.com/content/parksandrec/boatclub/index.html
It's on Belle Isle and it looks really cool. Someday I might go check this out
Edit: It's still open too, not like I have to break in or anything haha
